The Rs 350 crore redevelopment of the Tatanagar railway station under the Gati Shakti model is on track for completion by the end of 2028. Spearheaded by South Eastern Railway AGM Manish Jain, the 200-acre project includes a six-storey centrally air-conditioned building, modern passenger amenities, and enhanced safety infrastructure. Additionally, a new Vande Bharat coaching depot and a third railway line between Tatanagar and Adityapur are planned to streamline operations and heavy traffic.
